albobear This album was an absolute banger! As a longstanding fan of Insomnium, I really appreciate the influence. That is not to say that originality is absent; quite the contrary. Arouse the Darkness takes those influences and make it their own. There's a level of simplicity in the arrangement of some songs that just clicks with me. Thanks for the awesome album and really looking forward to seeing more in the future! Favorite track: Dead World.

JC This has become my soundtrack to late winter forest walks through snow & cold. The perfect soundtrack. Absolutely excellent-cover to cover. The production, recording, writing, & musicianship are all top tier. The somber, quieter, pensive moments are beautiful & perfectly juxtapose to the darker, more intense music. If you love early Paradise Lost & Decembre Noir you will love this melodic death-doom excellence. Would buy an LP version of this without even batting an eye. Favorite track: Dead World.
